Sirloin Steak Strips Recipes
Sirloin Steak strips
2 lb Beef, top sirloin steak, lean, raw
1 pinch salt and pepper (to taste)
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 cup red wine (dry)
1/2 cup fat free unsalted beef broth
2 tbsp dijon mustard
3 tbsp chopped parsley
Directions
Cut the steak into strips about 3/4 inch thick, and heat a large skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray over medium high heat. Sauté the steak on both sides until it is done, about 5 to 7 minutes, and season with the salt and pepper. Remove the meat, and add the garlic and wine to the pan, and boil until reduced by half, stirring well, and add the beef broth and mustard, stirring until blended. Boil until slightly thickened, and add the parsley, and return the meat to the pan, heat with the sauce, and serve.
