I had heard a lot about the nesting instinct from my friends who had at one time been expecting moms, but I never understood it until I got pregnant myself, which started my search for kids room rugs. The reason that rugs were so important was because a few weeks after I discovered that I was pregnant, I suddenly had a flash of inspiration about how I might decorate the room of my future offspring and the whole thing was completely visualized in my mind.

I drove home with a cloud of frustration surrounding me and for the first time in my pregnancy, I started to feel that maybe I was going to be a bad mother. I know that this is totally irrational, since a brand new baby can hardly see at all, let alone see and pass judgment on a rug. Still, I was upset and wondered what I could do.
Finally, I decided to see if I could find the right rug online, which turned out to be the best decision I made, since I found a delightful website full of rugs. I found a rug that would be perfect for my new baby's room and placed an order, throwing in some handmade Persian rugs that caught my interest, figuring that my nest had gotten a little bigger!
